Congratulations; Finally, Israel is on the doorstep of the ultimate; her eternal Security.

Full article will be at Huffington Post by 11.27.13 or later today at:  http://www.huffingtonpost.com/mike-ghouse/

A few abstracts from the article...

Jewish people have been betrayed time and again; each time they have made their home and their nest, it was torn down.... Israel is their eternal home with full security....

Thanks to Obama the statesman, for putting up with the fits and tantrums of Netanyahu and the Republican right, his wisdom has paid off..  I pray for the security of Jews and Justice for the Palestinians, one will not happen without the other.

President Jimmy Carter was and continues to be one of the true friends of Israel, that the Jewish people ever had. Now, Israel has another angel: Barack Obama.

The security of Israel is achieved through this deal. There is a Chinese saying, "If you want to eliminate the enemy, you make friends with them, and if you want to live in perpetual fear, keep frightening and threatening your enemies, neither will live in peace." The hype created by the war mongering Israeli leadership will hopefully recede.

Once the Jews feel secure, the Palestinians can count on Justice, a Jewish trait that has been overridden by the need for their security.

Now, I wish the Jewish friends a very happy Hanukkah, a true celebration and recovery of the security for the Israelites. Indeed, it’s the beginning of the end of darkness, and beginning of genuine security for the Jewish people.

Congratulations Mr. President. Thank you for your persistent peace initiaves with Iran

CONGRATULATIONS MR. PRESIDENT.
URL - http://theghousediary.blogspot.com/2013/11/congratulations-mr-president-thank-you.html

You are one of the best Presidents we have had after Lincoln, Kennedy, Reagan and Clinton! You care about America, and the well being of Americans.

You are a true caring American!
God bless you, you earned the Nobel Prize over again. This deal with Iran is the right thing. Roping Iran in the community of nations is a relief; let me share with you what it does in seven points.

1.  This is good for America, the gas prices will come down further, and the small contractor who fixes homes and makes a living can get out and drive more for the smaller jobs, and take care of the customers. No more debating and combining jobs.

2. The security of Israel is achieved through this deal. There is a Chinese saying, “if you want to eliminate the enemy, you make friends with them, and if you want to live in perpetual fear, keep frightening and threatening your enemies, neither will live in peace.” The hype created by the war mongering Israeli leadership is in check now.

3. I shudder at the thought of Romney’s presidency; he would have gone to war with Iran to appease other war mongers. Destruction of others is heroism to this sadistic crowd. The only ones that would have been happier would be the ones who would have benefited from it, a few in congresses and senate who live off the favors from such lobbies.

The average Americans would have seen job losses, higher gas prices, home foreclosures, divorces and the curse of budget deficit. I thank God for you.

4. Thanks for putting up with the fits and tantrums of Netanyahu and the Republican extremists, your wisdom has paid off.  Others would have given it back in full, but you held back for the ultimate good of the nation. Thank you. Let them bark and not give you the credit, which you did not care for anyways, but you cared about the good of America, Israel, and the American People and you achieved it.

5. Affordable Care Act is the best thing that has ever happened for the average Americans, eventually 43 million more Americans will benefit from it.  The ones, whose loved ones would have died because no insurance carrier would have taken them for the pre-existing conditions, are going to pray for your well being.  The ones who could not afford insurance are affording it and feel secure about the care they can get, and give it to their loved ones, and they are all praying for your well being.

6. I have listed you as my Pluralist Mentor along with Pope Francis, Bishop Tutu, Aga Khan and Javed Ahmed Ghamidi, and you are a true peace maker, and a conflict mitigater and a goodwill nurturer. Your patience is admired, and my faith in you as a true leader of the world is affirmed.

7. The only one who can bring genuine security to the people of Israel and justice to the Palestinians is you. Both the people deserve security and Justice, as a Muslim, and in behalf of many a Muslims in the world, I would like to see a Jew travel anywhere in the world without fear. He can send his child to a school in west bank dropping all the guards, and I would like to see a Palestinian feel justice is served to him. You have that vision Mr. President, and don’t let anyone stop you from it, and I am at your service.

God is with you, America is with you, the world is with you, and the average Israeli will be with you. A few of my fellow Republicans mean good but don’t know how to express it and resort to the ugliness. They don’t care about Americans or America, and all I can do is pray for them and ask God to remove their prejudices against fellow Americans and appreciate the good you have done for the country.

God bless America and God bless you Mr. President.

Texas Faith: What can Obama and Cruz learn from each other?

As a torch bearer of the Democratic Party, the president has a lot to appreciate in Ted Cruz, who with his singular jihadist act assured a gain for the Democrats to have a stronger say in the next Congress. That will preserve and protect his legacy: The Affordable Care Act, job growth in his second term and the continuance of a Democrat in the White House. Mike Ghouse

TEXAS FAITH: What can Obama and Cruz learn from each other?

You’ve read the coverage in the paper or online, followed the play-by-play on television news and probably even heard chatter around the water cooler about the government shutdown. So, I don’t need to replay the details for you about the last few weeks in Washington.

But, for this week’s discussion, I would like you to draw upon your training and/or beliefs to offer some advice to the two most identifiable people in the latest budget drama: President Obama and Texas’ own senator, Ted Cruz.

For them, and the country, to move ahead, some kind of breakthrough in human relations needs to occur. For that to happen, they need to understand each other better.

Of course, many major religions emphasize understanding “the other,” even welcoming the stranger. So, here is my question for this week:

What one strength of Ted Cruz’s would you suggest President Obama appreciate? And what one strength of President Obama’s would you suggest Sen. Cruz appreciate?

Read on for some surprising answers.

MIKE GHOUSE, President, Foundation for Pluralism and speaker on interfaith matters, Dallas

All the good and bad things in the world, like war and peace, invention and destruction, progression and regression, were caused by one individual. Indeed, one man can really make the difference in shaping the world.

We have two individual politicians at odds with each other. Both have made a difference in their own way and will continue to be discussed through midnight, November 4, 2014.

President Obama should appreciate the Jihadist mindset of Sen. Ted Cruz. The man would not listen to the polls, public or peer opinions, but just believed in himself and passionately worked on his belief, however wrong that belief was. He is a bulldozer; and nothing matters to him when he rolls on the terrain. Mahatma Gandhi and Hitler had a similar passionate mind set. One believed that truth will ultimately triumph and non-violence will trump oppression. The other believed in the dominance of a superior race.

As a motivational speaker, Cruz is my subject. He was successful in bringing the mighty United States government to a grinding halt. If this passion were applied towards peace and prosperity, the world would be a better place.

Now turning the table, Sen. Ted Cruz can really appreciate President Obama’s patience and his passionate belief that the Affordable Care Act is good for America. He can also appreciate the president’s will to make it his legacy is stronger and has greater support than the senator’s own whim to undo it.

Sen. Cruz can also appreciate the president for not accusing him of being disrespectful to the law of the land. ObamaCare is the law of the land, and not upholding the law amounts to contempt of the Constitution and the procedure it requires to become the law.

I am sure he realizes that we have the best government in the world because we are a nation of law. The process it takes to change must be adhered to be a genuine constitutional conservative.

Praying for Nelson Mandela; the symbol of freedom

URL - http://theghousediary.blogspot.com/2013/06/praying-for-nelson-mandela-symbol-of.html

Sunday, February 11, 1990 was a heavy day for me, I was glued to the TV to watch the historical event happening in my life time; the release of Nelson Mandela from the South African Prison. I choked, and I cried. And again, today is a heavy day for me. I am anxious about his health. He is in his last days of his life, the president of South Africa has given up on Medicine and counting on blessings and prayers from the people around the world. May God keep his wisdom and the flame of freedom alive?

Praying for him in essence is rekindling the spirit of freedom within us.

Freedom is the most cherished value for me, and to see freedom at last for a man in an apartheid nation was worth crying. A new tone of democracy was going to be set in the world for the first time in the predominantly Black African Nation.

I am also kicking myself – two weeks ago, my friend Sante Chary and I briefly talked about jumping in the plane and go visit Nelson Mandela, we had to go through a lot of rig morale to see him, we dropped the idea. Sante has a distinction among many things – to have an envelope signed by nearly eight US Presidents and several world leaders. He is a go getter and gets things done. Sante is one of the few friends where he and I have nothing to trade, nothing to gain, but just wish and support each other in our endeavors. I like this guy!

Can you imagine the power Mandela held? He shook the empire, they could have easily killed or poisoned him, but they did not have the guts to do that. What made Gandhi, Mandela, and MLK successful?

None of them had anything to gain, all they wanted was justice and harmony in the society, and that was their drive, when you become unselfish, you can do a lot of good to the world.  It begins with learning to respect the otherness of other and accepting the God given uniqueness of each one of us, then conflicts fade and solutions emerge.

Nelson Mandela is one of my mentors.  Some of the other joy-teary moments that I can recall are - release of Mandela, fall of the Berlin wall, Obama's election night,  Peace treaty between Israeli and Egypt, Peace between Ireland and England, Aung San Su Kyii’s release and Freedom at last for the Egyptian people.

What made these men and women unique and powerful? They were free from the pettiness and all embracing and affectionate like the spiritual Master of all religions.  Several things were common to them; among them are:

1) No wall between them and another soul
2) No religious and political boundaries for them
3) No preference when it came to serving another human
4) The good they did, benefited larger humanity than self
5)  Justness was a paramount value for them
6) No bone of prejudice in them.
7) Their world is the same size as God's world.

Here is information about him at Wikipedia.
