Thank God, day 1 passes without Chaos

Two response to two questions on the day after, follow this graphic;

  1. Can a soldier trust Obama
  2. Mr. Flournoy's oped in Lufkin Times and my response on the day after

    • Ken Scarborough Mike...please tell me....honest question...why my beloved grandson who is now in the military should give Obama one ounce of trust as his Commander in Chief....real question.
    • Mike Ghouse Ken Scarborough,

We have worked together and we have a relationship. I care about your Grandson, and have taken the time time to respond as best as I can to assure him that he serving the nation is the right thing to do.

You grandson has every reason to trust President Obama; the Commander in chief, let me share two choices:

What happened in Benghazy is pathetic and tragic. Obama has promised to get those criminals and he will get them, as he did Bin Laden and Awalaki.

Obama operates on the age old philosophy, that Mother Teresa talked about and another saint yeons ago had said, if you want the enemy gone, talk with them, make friends, they will be gone for good, if you fight, both of you will be fighting for generations. No one will be at peace.

Unlike Bush, who bombed the heck out of Iraq, sacrificed 5000 of our soldiers, millions of the others, destroyed the other nations and completely messed up our economy - he piled up $10 trillion in debt where as President Clinton had left with a balanced budget.

Obama is doing the right thing, he got Bin Laden without collateral damage, no American or Pakistani or Yemeni was killed, and no display of hate followed that, and he has pulled the troops out of Iraq and will do the same in Afghanistan.

Please share this with your grandson, if you agree with it, Obama is for safety of our soldiers, he values their life and brings them back home, he will not antagonize the wars, and do the mindless bombing, but surgically get the bad guys without invoking revenge seeking from the bombed. He will not even kill our soldiers to kill the Iranians - neither will be killed but the job will be done.

When you grandson returns, he has the best veteran’s package ever, thanks to Obama's commitment to treat those who fight for our liberties. Obama cares for the veterans and he will do more than any other president has done. You son will be proud of serving this president.

Obama’s foreign policy must be admired.http://www.huffingtonpost.com/mike-ghouse/chaotic-romney-and-stable-obama_b_1998900.html

Ken, Republican's baseless hate for Democrats should not cause them to denigrate the president nor hesitate giving him the credit.

Scott Braddock - Your intro surprises me

I wish you had not said, "the greatest op-ed" ever penned. Mr. Flournoy, has expressed his opinion as he saw it with his limited vision, and we need to acknowledge and respect it, but not accept it.  If you would like me to write a full rebuttal, I will be happy to do that.

Obama has actually restored the freedom to the nation. A woman can choose what she can do with her body to abort or not to abort, no conservative GD government should tell her or what to do ...to prevent her from having her freedom.

Let the GLBT live their lives, in pursuit of their happiness, Obama brought liberation to them, rather Obama has restored the spirit of our constitution, those right wingers wanted to tell whom you can marry or not...

What is insurance? A capitalistic instrument to spread the risk... taxation is no different, a capitalistic instrument to uplift those who are in the ditches, an investment to convert them into consumers, so we can grow the economy.... the cost of emergency room is far greater than bringing health security to America.

The right wing hate for democrats should not make them overlook their flaws... and say things that don't make sense.

Scott, the good news is, I am committed to bring moderation, common sense and pluralistic attitudes to the Republican Party, I will do my share and have begun the process. It’s all at www.TheGhousediary.com, I am a Republican, a moderated one who voted for Obama, like million other Republicans who are sick of the takeover of our party by the extremist elements.

Need I go further?  Foreign policy?.
Mr. Flourmoy is not fully informed.

Good News for Obama

GOOD NEWS FOR OBAMA ON THE ECONOMIC FRONT
http://theghousediary.blogspot.com/2012/10/good-news-for-obama.html

1. Home sales perked up with a 5% increase, home building and homes sales are the barometers of economy. A good and healthy sign, the first step towards prosperity.

2. Unemployment is steadily go
ing down - its 7.8%, it is measured with the same yard stick that has been around for 50 years

3. We may soon become an oil supporter, as Obama's policy of creating a significant share of renewable energy will bring the prices down - the economic law of substitution is at works.

4. Its good news that Trump cannot find faults with Obama,so he comes up with gossip like birther and now about something else.

5. Obama will maintain stability, Romney will bring chaos.

I am a Republican and I support Obama.

2nd Presidential debate between Obama and Romney

2ND PRESIDENTIAL DEBATE: OBAMA OR ROMNEY

It was a good debate. Although Obama has an edge over Romney in connecting with people, it was Romney who was actually connecting. Romney addressed the questioners by their names, in fact, he clarified the name one questioner, did I get that right? That was touching; Obama did catch up as an afterthought.

Neither one of them addressed Jeremy’s parent’s concern, they did not even referred to them, I was hoping they would. I am sure there was a gaping gap left with Jeremy's parents..

Romney was looking at the people where as Obama was staring at the floor, as if there was a hurdle placed in front of him, it was irritating to me, and not sure if it was for others.

Though Romney was good, he came across as a criticizer than a problem solver, where as Obama missed a few good opportunities that could have sealed him a clear victory. Obama will regain at least two points lead over Romney following this debate.

Romney’s come back on 7/11 was good, but Obama put the lid right back on it.

Romney blew it on Benghazi  he could have pushed for lack of intelligence, instead he was caught with falsity, and from that moment on, it was a downward slope for Romney. It is not just that Romney has been shooting  whatever is convenient to him, does he not think that he is watched by the same people over and over again to see and hear the different versions? He needs to stick to one version for he 2016 run.

On the other hand, Obama could have nailed him on the immature and dangerous statement Romney made about our Embassies.Romney was clearly wrong there...

On the last question - Romney was asserting, and reasserting that he cared about 100% of Americans, clearly he did not mean it, I wish someone analyzes it, and that’s where Obama could have blown Romney away.  All Obama had to say was this, “Governor, I am glad you said that you stand for 100% of Americans here in public, but that is not what you say in private, what else have you said?”

Obama has brought stability over the four years, and Romney’s presidency will knock over that if he is elected. .

Romney has not matured in his convictions; he is in the experimentation stage, trying to see which statement will work. He has two different views, a private view that he shares with the ones who give him money, and the public view that gives the appearance of inclusiveness. How deep is either view? God only knows. I don't know which Romney I will get at the end. Even the GOP is not sure.

Obama is a sure thing; he will keep everything intact; he will not turn things upside down. Unemployment is steadily going down; Women can continue to feel secure, he will not repeal the Equal Pay Act, not repel equal insurance premiums for men and women, and will not repeal Roe v. Wade, will not do a flip on "Don't ask, don't tell", and he will keep the veterans' benefits intact… and a whole lot more.

America First - Go Obama, and not Romney for stability

HUFFINGTON POST

My fellow Republicans, let's put America first, party next.

Romney has not matured in his convictions; he is in the experimentation stage, trying to see which statement will work.
