Dallas, Texas - January 9, 2013. In a statement
released today, Mike Mohamed Ghouse, president of the World Muslim
Congress expressed his concerns and denounced the statement made by
Honorable Mr. Abdullah Gül, president of the Republic of Turkey.
Mr. Ghouse said, “A Muslim should stand for up justice and support all such inquiries that bring justice to the people, in case where a Muslim cannot do anything, the least he can do is to speak up against injustice. Today, I am disappointed by the statement of Hon. President Gül”.

Although my enthusiasm for the election has
remained high, I am also tense, frightened at times about the prospects
of getting the worse or worst guy elected as President. This is the
first time I am deeply concerned and apprehensive about our nation’s
next four years.
What I did not do; 4 TV spots and a Romney Obama Song
Being a pluralist, I have come to value every individual, faith, race, ethnicity and culture. My friends include Atheists to Zoroastrians and every one in between on the faith side, and on the political spectrum I have Republicans, Democrats and Libertarians. I am a Republican, a moderate one like Schwarzenegger, Collin Powel, John Huntsman and a host of other Republican who put America first. I voted the Democrat Obama for President, Republican Cruz for Senate, Republican Marchant for Congress, and a host of Republican and Democrat Judges and commissioners, but mainly Republican.

GOOD NEWS FOR OBAMA ON THE ECONOMIC FRONT
1. Home sales perked up with a 5% increase, home building and homes sales are the barometers of economy. A good and healthy sign, the first step towards prosperity.
2. Unemployment is steadily go
ing down - its 7.8%, it is measured with the same yard stick that has been around for 50 years
3. We may soon become an oil supporter, as Obama's policy of creating a significant share of renewable energy will bring the prices down - the economic law of substitution is at works.

If we look at these two men running for office
on the issues of Security, women, freedom economy, health care and
foreign policy, it makes it easy to consider voting for one of them.
Romney's actions (listed below) will push America into Chaos and Regress
it back to Bush's 2008 America, while Obama's efforts will continue to
bring stability to America.
The choice between Chaotic Romney and Stabilizing Obama
I have never been alarmed about the future of America as I do now. We have gone through bad times, losing jobs, foreclosure of homes, living on food stamps, budget deficit, sacrifice of thousands of Americans in wars and devastation of other nations and deaths of millions of civilians, and finally we have a grip on the situation.

Whether it is Columbus or President’s day, it
is a day off! Who would not want a day off to catch up with friends and
do the things that needed to be done. It is not a day off for everyone, I
am working and most people are working as well.
How many really take the time or care to know about the holiday? The Native Americans may see Columbus as a damned invader who may not have directly caused the subsequent annihilation of Native cultures, but was the seed for it.
We the people, collectively, whether related with colonialists or not, owe an apology to the Native Americans. It can be a simple reflection on how humanity has moved from Barbarianism to civility and still has ways to go. There are many contracts with the Native Americans that have not been kept up, it is time we seriously consider being on par with every American. No American should be left out of the American space. We need to get to a point where the law applies to all equitably.

FunAsia Entertainment Center in Dallas hosted
the Presidential debate watch in one of their banquet halls. It was
supported by many non-partisan, non-political organizations to come
together and learn about different points of view.
Prior to, and after the debate, two Republicans and two Democrats shared their thoughts about the debate, I am glad I attended. I was able to defend the Republican Party from being stereotyped and that is one of the goals of America Together Foundation, to make a point about not stereotyping any one and any group.
In response to a few comments, I took a firm stand on stereotyping Republicans with a statement, “All Republicans are not extremists, but most of the political extremists are Republicans,” with a reiteration, “you cannot blame the Party for the acts of the few.”

Here are a few lines I have come up for Obama
“So Governor, which one of you shall I respond to?”
“Governor Romney thanks for your generosity for passing the defective 47% of Americans, and the additional 10% for me, and keeping the 44% for yourselves. I have got news for you; I will be standing up for every one you have rejected after November 6”

Today, I am meeting a delegation from Pakistan
on a trip to get an understanding of Pluralism and Interfaith. There are
not many organizations involved in research and studies in religious
pluralism and pluralistic governance; we are one of the few doing this
work for the last twenty years.
I am particularly excited about this meeting, because, Pakistan like India has a common pluralistic heritage, but it has lost its tracks since Soviets invaded Afghanistan, and we the Americans countered their encroachment with funding Madrasas to produce Jihadists to go get the Soviets, kill or get killed mind set, and they ran the Soviets off, and we abandoned them as well, rendering them jobless and purposeless drifters.

As a moderate Republican, I was banking on
Romney, he is in indeed a good man, but a ruthless business man who will
shut down things if they don't pan out in the short haul, sacrificing
the long term good for America, a typical corporate guy. He told, let
Detroit go bankrupt, Obama did the right thing, and pulled it through,
thus creating jobs and adding to the growth of economy in addition to
regaining our glory in automotive industry.

It was good to see President Clinton bat for
Obama; he puts things in perspective for people to see clearly what is
happening. He has turned things around for Obama in the convention, and
is doing that now hitting Sunday morning political shows.
On the other hand, either Romney or the mainstream Republican Party is keeping former President Bush at bay, what a shame!
They did not even want to see President Bush Jr., or senior in the convention, of course President Bush pre-empted them by saying he can’t make it, even before a possible ask.
Romney has a whole lot of Bush men working with him, including Rove. The Democrats will hit him hard as the time gets closer, “Governor Romney, were you embarrassed about your former Republican President?” Did you realize that the men and women surrounding you are the same group of embarassers?

There is no shortage of opportunists in the
world. No one has exclusive monopoly on being an idiot; members of every
race, religions, nationality and ethnicity are in this game together,
particularly the politicians. This essay is about a $100,000 bounty
offered on the head of the anti-Islamic film maker from Pakistan. Iran
would be the next one to issue.

I am usually tempered; I'll come loose now with
the new Romney video. He does not even want to ask nearly half of the
Americans to vote for him? He said he does not count on 47% of those
Americans; do I want him to be my president? Hell no, he is president
for his own buddies and not for Americans.
Those investors listening to this divisive talk will write big checks, with a clear intention of doubling on their return on the investment. You buy Romney now; he will offer tax cuts should he become president of the United States. Romney is smart and they are too… but who gets screwed? It is you and I who cannot buy him with big checks.
Romney will sell America. The man is secretive on taxes, money in Swiss banks, and now scheming and carrying on secretive conversations. Should we trust secretive presidents?

I am really surprised the white house asked
Google to take out. the film clip on Muhammad. But I can see it as a
responsibility of the state to protect her citizens, and if this is what
it takes to save the lives of Americans elsewhere, it may be considered
as a short measure.
I hope the rejection sends a clear message to other nations that even the President of America cannot meddle with the freedom of speech guaranteed in our constitution. So, it is not America, it was the individual who made the movie.
In behalf of the World Muslim Congress, a think tank and a discussion forum, I condemn the movie, a disgusting movie, and the killing of our Ambassador Christopher Stevens in Benghazi. This is not acceptable and the criminals must be hunted down and punished. The violence that has erupted from the trailer of the film Mohammad is abhorrent and condemned by Muslims without a reserve.

Americans Muslims are fully committed to a
strong, peaceful, prosperous and a secure America. As Americans we
uphold, protect, defend and celebrate the values enshrined in our
constitution. Our faith reinforces the creed of "One Nation under God,
with liberty and justice for all."
Every time a group wanted the constitutional rights be applicable to them, they had to fight what's was theirs to begin with... Now, Muslims and the GLBT communities are clamoring to be equal, and Hindus will be next as their numbers increase.
Let me begin with two simultaneous trends developing to address the acceptance of Muslims as "equals" beginning with interfaith movement, and Muslim initiatives.

ARE WE BETTER OFF NOW THAN 4 YEARS AGO?
I shudder at the thought of America, had McCain become the president. I know Mr. McCain’s proclivities, itching for war, and eagerness to show “them boys” who we are. He would have gone to war with Libya, Tunisia, Yemen, Egypt, Syria and Iran and no doubt we would have carpet bombed and burned those nations to the ground, but it would have ruined America, even more than the Iraq war had done. We would have been devastated. At least I have an America now that did not run aground, thanks to President Obama's foreign policy.

Republican Presidential nominee, Mitt Romney
did deliver a good speech; indeed I remained connected with him
throughout the speech. It sounded great, but not sure if it is merely a
talk like Obama’s good talk four years ago.
Paul Ryan and Mitt Romney - Republican nominess
I have some sever questions for Mr. Romney, his answers might change the minds of many like me, I am a Moderate Republican who has reluctantly chosen to vote for Obama, not because he is any better, but because he will do least harm to the nation between the two of them. I wish I had more choices.

I gave an A to Paul Ryan, if he can lean towards the Moderate majority, I will give him an A+. It was a stunning speech.
He offered one of the best explanations on the faith differential between Romney and him. This is advancement in Republican thinking and I am glad to see them catch up with the idea of Pluralism, maybe it is just Ryan, and I hope he means it for the whole nation and not just a convention talk.
Ryan delivered the best lines about small business people working 7 days a week to make it happen, it seemed credible. Acknowledging his mother as a role model was wonderful.

Loudmouth Christie needs to back off on women’s
issue, unless the radical Republicans un-Talibanize themselves, if not
he is doomed for embarrassment.
Christie is a rare Republican I agree with frequently, however, he is twisting the message and is being condescending to women.
What women want is for men to mind their own damned business, and not mess with their vagina’s, choice to abort the babies in dire necessity, marry a female if they want to, get paid equitably, not get legitimately raped, and be the clergy of any church, President of the United States or anything they want without anyone having a second thought that she is a woman.

Like most of the movies, it is a good, bad and
an ugly movie. The film producer Dinesh D’Souza has propounded a
preposterous hypothesis of colonialism and its effects on the subjected
people. He has made a serious attempt to force-fit Obama into his own
projection to prove his theory. I must admit it is a grandiose effort
and has a greater appeal for conspiratorial theorists and offers plenty
of gossip material.
The title claims Love Him, Hate Him and you don't know him. I did not see the first part; Love him. If the producer was someone else, it would not have bothered me, but he has claimed to be an intellectual, but in the movie, he lacks the simple intellectual integrity by not presenting another point of view. That is not fair to the Americans. Perhaps he believes everything is acceptable in politics and wars, and he knows he can dump garbage on the right wingers and they will happily eat it as the finest cake every prepared.

They have two mouths – one talks about freedom
and the other wants to take away choices from a woman about her body;
one talks about individual liberties while the other rips that right
from gay couples marrying each other, and one talks about freedom of
religion and the other passes laws restricting Muslims to practice their
religion.
The defining moment about individualism and collectivism came when Ron Paul was asked, “Congressman, are you saying that society should just let him die?” His response was health care was a mercy of the community and not a right. A political commercial depicted Romney to be responsible for the death of a lady whose family could not afford insurance to treat her cancer.

Ryan is a new throw in the basket; if he was in

extremist men and women.
The problem is not with us Republicans; it is with the extremists among us.
When Justice Roberts rendered a decision in favor of Obama care, I welcomed the decision as a moderate Republican, and instantaneously many Republicans found a way out and echoed my sentiments. They may be silent, but they have spoken against extremism in the ballot.

Instead of figuring out how to get out of the
labels, Romney digs in his heels and reaffirms that he is what people
perceive him to be; a rich man for the rich by the rich.
Romney has gathered Bush people around him reaffirming his false belief that the Neoconism is good for America. Indeed, it was the Neocons who have screwed America badly with budget deficits, WMD’s and useless wars - The guys like Romney are all doing fine, it is the average American who is suffering; the one without a job, the one who has lost his home and the one who is losing his family members due to lack of insurance.
With Paul Ryan as his running mate, Romney has assured the Americans that he is Bush in Sheep’s clothing.

This piece appeared in Jerusalem post today.
I am a supporter of Israel, but not the unjust policies of Israeli government. The policies are dangerous to security (not defense) of Israel and tarnish the character of Jewish nation. I have written over 25 pieces on the topic, please visit www.IsraelpalestineDialogue.com
As peace makers, we should listen carefully. The biggest mistake the hard liners among the right wing Muslims, Jews, Christians and Hindus make is simple; they don't listen.
They jump to conclusions and mess up the world.

A personal note: As a Republican, I am leaning
towards Obama again, Romney seems to be an opportunist and not good for
America, Israel, Palestine or any one. He is not a man of his own
conscience, there was another one like him who played to someone else's
tunes. Obama has blundered, but he will not ruin America with another
war.
Peace hinges on hopes for the Palestinians and security for the Israelis, anything short of justice will not produce sustainable peace. If Jews and Palestinians can take the position that we cannot have peace when others around us don't, and work on first removing bias and stereotyping from their own minds, the conflicts will fade and solutions will emerge.
What has Romney got to lose?

I have not taken a political stand on the basis
of party lines, nor do I intend to. But I do take a stand against
individuals who are messing up our nation.
Congresswoman Michelle Bachman has proven herself to make the statements that have no basis in truth. There have been a number of interviews with her staff members and advisors, during the presidential run; she routinely embarrassed her staff with her thoughtless remarks. I would not be surprised if her constituency dumps her in the next election bid out of embarrassment.

John Bolton has become a surrogate volunteer
for Romney, and this does not bode well for presumed Presidential
Nominee. Romney could increase his chances if he was true to his own
ideals of moderation, but sadly, he has fallen in to the same pit and
has surrounded himself with rash men like Bolton.
There was a little hope a few days ago, that the Republicans will wake up and clean the party from radicals who do nothing but destructive and divisive talk that has brought our nation to this sad economic point in history.
It takes one to change the world and one to destroy it.

James Holmes, the alleged shooter who killed 12
in a crowded Colorado movie theater, reportedly worked at a Muslim
summer camp for underprivileged children.
Holmes, 24, spent a summer working as a counselor for an Islamic Camp in Glendale, Calif., which is run by Muslim Brothers of Los Angeles, the Los Angeles New Times reported Saturday.
He is suspected of opening fire on the crowd late Thursday night at a midnight screening in Aurora, Colo., of the new Batman film "The Dark Knight Rises." Twelve people were killed and 58 were injured in the shooting spree.
Holmes was arrested shortly after the shootings. He reportedly set off smoke bombs before firing at the crowd.

When someone is accused of wrong doing, it is
the duty of every human to stand up for them; ultimately everyone would
be better off.
The ABC news has messed up, “and issued a report Friday suggesting that the horrific shooting at a Colorado movie theater was perpetrated by a suspect with ties to the movement, the situation had a familiar feel to it, tea party leaders say.”
Although the report may suit many who hate the politics of the Tea Party, but speaking up against false suggestions is the right thing to do.

Thank God, the killer is caught identified as
James Holmes, 24, in the deadly mass shooting at Aurora, Colorado, Movie
Theater. He killed 12 and wounded nearly 50 - their fault? None. His
fault? Irresponsibility.
The NRA says guns don't kill people, and that is true. Indeed it is the loonies that kill people. I am with NRA and we should have the freedom to bear arms, however, safety of other citizens must be guarded as well.
It can be done by doing similar things like auto insurance requirement to drive a vehicle, it is not a regulation, but safety of the public and protection of the innocent. We also have a strong no drink and drive policy, and I don't see why we don't focus on no putting some licensing and insurance requirements.

Welcome to Ramadan, this column is about the
politics, traditions and the spirit of Ramadan. This is for the benefit
of those who want to get a feel for Ramadan.
Like a mother who wants her children to live well, like a teacher who wants his student to do well, and like a chef who wants his patrons to enjoy his food…. God wants every one of his creation to live in harmony and do well.
No one is deprived of God’s love; he has reached every human through a peace maker, messenger, prophet, reformer or simply a wise man or a good friend that brings sense to living. The creator offers a variety of guidance to the mankind, no matter where you live, the guidance is there, the guidance that leads to live in peace, and without fear of the other.

The Man was about to flash Penis in Jerusalem and resisted.
When I read about the man with biggest Penis at Smirking Chimp, it reminded me of my own story. No, I do not have a big one but curbed the idea of flashing it out to the Israeli guard.
On Sunday, August 22, 2010, the 12th day of Ramadan, a group of us had suhoor, early morning meal at a house on the Via Dela Rosa in the heart of Jerusalem. Our next stop was to walk to the Al-Aqsa Mosque in Jerusalem, for the pre-dawn prayers.
Al-Aqsa is the mosque next to the famous (Golden) Dome of the rock mosque, the signature city scape of Jerusalem.

Is it the responsibility of the people we have
elected to represent and safeguard the interests of the public at large?
Should the banks and corporations do as they please under the free
market? Have we not learned bad lessons of deregulation? Now the Libor
crisis, i.e., fixing the indexed rates (Libor) on interest among the
bank themselves is leading to the bank failures.
The deciders can go to bloody hell, but should the public bear the brunt of it? After all it is public funds, and public trust in the banks. Should the executives be thrown in Jail for the disaster or should they be given bonuses while the public at large loses?

The following words are showered on Mr. Romney;
bold, honest, tells it like it is, non-compromising on principles. He
has only one mouth he speaks from.
During his speech at NAACP, he got booed. Of course, booing goes with public life, so is cheering; after all we are a free people and respond to situations instinctively.
Steve Holland of Reuters writes, “Although several of his lines were greeted with applause, Romney drew waves of boos when he blasted Obama's record on jobs and the healthcare overhaul that was backed by the president and recently upheld as constitutional by the U.S. Supreme Court.”

The security and health of our nation should be our first priority. Defense and health go hand in hand.
Thank God, the Supreme Court has upheld the individual health care mandate. Indeed, the Bush appointee Judge Roberts saw the sense in doing the right thing and tilting the decision in a 5-4 ruling. An average American wins today.
A few may not see the wisdom in it, but when they see the big picture, they will eventually admire it. A healthy America is a productive America and those short sighted ones opposing now will benefit from higher productivity. America is better off with this decision.

The primaries are held in 10 states with 437
delegates at stake. To win the nomination, the candidate has to bag
1144delegates out of 2286.
Each state has a number of delegates and the state decides whether each candidate gets delegates proportional to the votes casted, or some fixed and variable numbers or even the winner takes it all.
Of the 2286 total Delegates, 324 have been assigned, and 437 are at stake on Super Tuesday; a 10 state contest. The number of delegates is figured out by the number of congressional districts.
This Tuesday at stake are; Georgia (76), Ohio (66), Tennessee (58), Virginia (49), Oklahoma (43), Massachusetts (41), North Dakota (28), Idaho (32), Vermont (17) an Alaska (24).

We know Limbaugh is wrong and he knows it as
well, a half hearted apology is the most we can expect from an egomaniac
and we need to let it go, his time has come. Men like him don’t
buckle because they are wrong, the do it because it affects their
paycheck.
When he saw advertisers were pulling out, and most probably the broadcasters told him, Rush, with the advertisers gone, you will be gone too. Remember Beck?
This is a great example of turning the tables on the idiom, “evil persists because good men do nothing about it.” Indeed, evil stops, if good people do something about it.

I am really surprised by President Obama’s move that he would want to infringe on personal liberties.
As a Muslim, and in behalf of several Muslims, I stand with our Catholic Brothers and Sisters, they should have the choice, and freedom to practice whatever method of birth control they want to pursue.
We are not China to regulate, a man and a woman should choose what is good for him or her and not the government.
Where did he get the idea that contraceptives will be provided free of charge to consumer, is there anything free out there? God is not going to shower the contraceptives on the health insurance companies, if they were to provide, they have to pay for it, and it will be passed on to the employer.

Santorum has busted Romney in three states last night;
Missouri – Santorum 55% - Romney 25% - Paul 12%
Minnesota - Santorum 45% - Paul 27% -Romney 17%
Colorado - Santorum 45% - -Romney 34% - Gingrich 13%
This does not bode well for the GOP, it will drive the moderates, independents, and Republican leaning independents towards Obama. GOP fails to understand that a majority of Americans are moderates and not conservative sticks in the mud. Romney has a chance.
Gingrich is out of touch with the public, when he uses the term “Massachusetts Moderate” to Romney, he is offending a majority of Americans who are indeed moderates and not right wing extremists like him, it shows in the polls.

The public wants to see a formidable challenge to Obama, sadly there is none at this time.
Newt is not a man of his own, he lives under the shadow of Reagan, the name Reagan is his security blanket, and he can’t live without it. He hides under the label conservative; he ain't any conservative with his record.
Romney has a chance but the Evangelical leadership will exhibit their bigotry towards him, he ain’t Christian enough, as if they are following the teachings of Jesus.
Santorum will do anything to get elected; he is making every effort to wean out the clapping crowds from Gingrich to his war drums. Santorum will ruin us completely, just as Bush did.

Mitt Romney, Brian Williams and John King
wanted simple answers, what did Newt do? Instead of answering, he
attacks them and let them spin and fend themselves; King almost felt
like it was a crime to do the follow up, Romney recovered at least once
but Williams moved on. So, Newt goes Scot free and the supporters laud
him. They will keep lauding and keep building Newt to be a farce, fake
thing and deliver it to the Tiger.
Tiger will not let this goat frighten him, he would say, Newt first answer the question, answer it now! I am not going to let you get away...with your pranks, baby cranks.

Jesus Christ’ ultimate dream was to create a
kingdom of heaven on the earth; it is the idea where no human has to
live in apprehension, discomfort or fear of the other under one God. It
is the same idea repeated and revived by several great reformers of the
world including but not limited to Zarathustra, Moses, Krishna, Buddha,
Confucius, Muhammad, Nanak, Bahaullah, Gandhi, MLK and others.
Then the best among us would be someone who works towards this goal and believes in the Golden rule, "treat others as you would want to be treated."
I am greatful to God for the blessing and encouragement to stand for others. As an example I am setting a site to list some of my work from an Atheist to Zoroastrian and every one in between.

John King of CNN asked (it was asked) Newt, if he would like to share his thoughts on what his ex-wife Marianne Gingrich had to say.
Instead of answering the question, Newt attacks the press belligerently and gets away with it and John King backs down. Damn his gutlessness and irresponsibility. Newt was billing himself as a conservative candidate, in wake of the flip flops and seeking an open marriage. None of them are conservative positions.

I am glad President Obama came through poised,
clear and precise with stronger than ever conviction. He was Reaganesque
when he thundered and said, he will go to every nook and corner of
America and talk to the American Public, if the Tea Party members do not
approve the Job Creation plan. It is time that American Public hears
about them.
What’s wrong with the Republican Party? Party because they are getting run over by the Tea Partiers. How long they want to look macho guys, a few will fall for that talk even if they don’t have food on the table. Most Americans will give to them in 2012 if they don’t behave. The 2010 was fluke; they will not win the public in 2012 with 2010 arrogance, they are not in tune with the American public as they were in 2008.

When the Republican candidates thump their
chest and say it aloud, I am a conservative, what do they mean? Are they
confused between the words “oppressive” and “conservative” particularly
when it is applied to LGBT issues?
Do they feel any sense of remorse when they reject the marriage between the consenting free willed adults? What does liberty mean to them?
Do they rejoice what Uganda is doing to its LGBT population? By the way Michelle Bachmann you may not be aware of the situation there, and if you are, I want to assure you it is not a “Moslem” country?

There were a lot of practices that Islam had negated but continue within a few societies. Culture runs deeper than religion, and some of the primitive practices like honor killing, female genital mutilation, and instant divorce without the consent of the wife continue till this day, even though Islam prohibits it.

The first confession from folks who attend
interfaith meetings and workshops on Pluralism is, "I don't believe
Mahatma Gandhi is going to hell even though my pastor says he will if he
does not take Jesus as a savior." The second one says, "We were told
that they are not Christians, they are Catholics and the hell is waiting
for them."
Whenever a Rabbi gives a sermon about oneness of humanity or talks about the rights of Palestinians, some one will proudly share the pluralistic nature of the sermon. Likewise Muslims do not want to hear anything negative about their Christian, Hindu or Jewish friends. Many people are reluctantly putting up with sermons about 'others' going to hell.

The phrase Allahu Akbar is used, abused and
misused by Muslims, unfortunately it has come to symbolize death and
destruction to Non-Muslims.
We the Muslims unequivocally condemn abuse of the phrase Allahu Akbar and call on the Imams and the scholars to coach appropriate use of the phrase.
It is the responsibility of Muslims to reign in on such abuse; the Yemeni passenger abused it while pounding on the cockpit door. It has happened many times including Major Nidal Malik in Killeen, Texas.
Damn you if you are a criminal, do it in your own name and not use God’s name for your criminal acts. It puts me the good user and you the abuser on par, and it is not acceptable.

buying in to stereotypical images of Muslims.
However the year 2010 witnessed a dramatic shift in auto-correcting that error by un-stereotyping Muslims.
The Ground Zero Mosque, nay, the Muslim community center in New York was a major turning point in adding the average American Muslim to the media mix of the public faces of Muslims who are not only moderates but also contributors to the overall peace, prosperity and security of America.

It is one of the best news items Muslims have
had in a decade, we are delighted that an evil era has come to an end
with the death of this evil man Osama Bin Laden. It brings a sense of
justice and relief to nearly 3000 fellow Americans.
Indeed Muslims were not only victims of his terrorism, but were also subject of harassment by several governments around the world in Airports as well as employment and ordinary life acts. The Sikh community also became a target of the mistaken identity. With his death, we pray that the Taliban mind set and the oppression of women in Afghanistan also comes to an end.

Given the growing apprehensiveness through
politicizing religion, it makes a lot of sense for one to step in
other’s shoes and experience the wisdom of every beautiful religion
first hand, rather than live in phobias generated by hearsay.
Finding the truth is our own responsibility, as truth relieves one’s anxieties. The Quraan Conference took the wind out of the sails of the misrepresented verses like “Kill the infidels”, “beat your wife” or “Don’t make friends with Jews and Christians and seven other verses”, mind you the verses were read in public by the clergy of different religions and not Muslims. Since 9/11 a whole generation of writers have
taken up interfaith activities. Here is the story one such speaker in
Dallas, Texas
Interfaith Speaker Mike Ghouse
FAITH IS IN THE HEART OF THE BELIEVER AS BEAUTY IS IN THE EYES OF THE BEHOLDER www.FoundationforPluralism.com
An interfaith Speaker, thinker, organizer and an activist committed to building cohesive societies with a firm belief that the purpose of religion is to bring harmony to an individual within and create a balance with what surrounds; life and matter. If we can learn to respect and accept everywhich way people have come to worship the creator, then conflicts fade and solutions emerge.
