NEWS RELEASE
Mike Ghouse is
scheduled to speak to us this Thursday evening about "Building a Cohesive
America." This should be an interesting presentation about building civil
and civic tolerances in American society between many religious views. Bring
someone with you to Rotary if it is possible. Attached RotaNews.
Dallas Parks Rotary meets on Thursdays at 6:00 p.m.
APRIL 12, 2012
APRIL 12, 2012
MONICA’S ACA Y ALLA RESTAURANT,
2914 Main Street (Deep Ellum), in Dallas.
Mike Ghouse will speak to us this evening about building a
cohesive America, where no American has to live in anxiety, apprehension or
fear of the other. This topic has to do with the many religions and religious
viewpoints we have in America and the necessity at the civic level to at the
very least tolerate each other’s viewpoints.
Mike Ghouse is a speaker, thinker, writer, initiator, organizer
and mediator committed to building cohesive societies, offering pluralistic
solutions to the media and the public on current issues. He is available to
speak at places of worship, workplaces, schools, seminars, workshops,
conferences and public events.
Mike is a frequent guest on Fox News, “The Hannity Show”, and on nationally syndicated shows including Dallas TV, print and radio networks, and occasional interviews on NPR. Concerned by the political, civil and economic divisiveness, Mike has initiated and formed the America Together Foundation (ATF), a non-profit entity committed to building a cohesive America, where no American has to live with anxiety, apprehension, discomfort or fear of the other. The focus of the foundation is that one must be free to live his or her life to the fullest in pursuit of happiness. The ATF is in the developmental stage now and invites participants, sponsors and volunteers.
