Hannity, Horowitz and Ghouse on Radio

October 24, 2012

David Horowitz and Mike Ghouse talk more about the attacks on Benghazi. “The President lied to the American people,” began Hannity, “The State Department watched these attacks in real-time and they had confirmation that this was a terrorist attack.”

“The President had no reason to lie,” countered Ghouse, “Somebody didn’t communicate with the President, the President has promised to go get the bad guys and he’ll do that.” “The President is the source of the lies,” disagreed Horowitz, “Part of his re-election narrative is that he’s defeated Al Qaeda and yet here they’re killing our embassy and killing our Ambassador.”

“People are going to look back at this time in history as the rise of radical Islam,” finished Hannity, “This is a real clear and present danger that we have to recognize.” For more on today’s breaking news, click here.

Sean kicked off Wednesday’s show with the breaking news that President Obama very well may have been notified via email that the attacks in Benghazi were executed by a militant Islamic organization. “This is about lying to the families of dead Americans,” began Hannity, “This is about losing the first American ambassador we’ve lost in 30 years.” Hannity continued, “Reuters reports that the White House was notified within two hours that an Islamic extremist group has taken responsibility for this incident.” Hannity pressed the issue saying, “This is a huge game-changing story.” “The smoking gun in this story, the first of many, will be this report that the White House Situation Room received an update within hours of the attacks in Benghazi,” continued Hannity, “This adds to the questions about why the President still went on his trip to Las Vegas for a fundraiser.” “The American people were lied to,” concluded Hannity, “It’s impossible to believe that information made its way to the Situation Room and not to the President, he is either lying or we’ve seen such derelict of duty that Obama should consider resigning.” “We know the Obama camp is trying to just beat the clock until re-election,” concluded Hannity, “He’s trying to play us for fools.” You can listen to Sean’s reaction to this story, here.

Hannity, Horowitz & Ghouse on Brotherhood

April 9, 2012 at 4:00 on Sean Hannity Radio

TALKING POINTS - DEALING WITH THE BROTHERHOOD

First of all, I want to make this unambiguously clear; First of all, I want to make this unambiguously clear;I don’t like the policies of the Brotherhood,  looking at the practical side of it –They are the elected representatives of the people, and if the President Obama rejects them, he will be emboldening them and getting them to dig in their heels – that would be disastrous
We have done that with Hamas, and we should not repeat it with Brotherhood.

If you work with people, even the rogue elements, I am not saying they are rogues, we have a chance of turning things around that are good for all the parties…. If we reject them, we don’t have a prayer.

It is in our interests, the interests of the Egyptians people and certainly in the interests of Israel’s security, we have to make this work.

Remember the Peace deal was between the people of Egypt and Israel and we cannot afford to piss off the Egyptian people. The deal was not between Mubarak and Netanyahu, Mr. Netanyahu made a major mistake by telling the US to support Mubarak – his intelligence was wrong, so was ours. I am glad the Egyptians are not going to hold it against him or the Israelis.  That was the dumbest move by Prime Minister Netanyahu.

Relationship is with nations and not individuals, individuals do drive the accords, but if they do not represent the will of the people, their words are as good as the dust.

Brotherhood has proposed an alternate Candidate Mohammad Moris – it is a good news, it shows that  the democracy has meaning and there is a process in place– the possibility of disqualifying the primary nominee El-Shater or the others; Sulaiman or Amr Mousa.

Mr. Horowitz called Obama a liar – I jumped on him, Obama is not a liar, he is sharing what he reviews. Calling Mubarak to go was the right thing. "The people on the other side call you a liar Mr. Horowitz, are you?

We need to tie the $1.5 Billion aid to Egypt to maintain peace and prosperity.

Mr. Horowitz said that the brotherhood charter calls for destruction of Israel – I told him that I have not read it, if it is fact, then it needs to be condemned.

They said, the first act of Brotherhood was to declare Israel as enemy, I need to verify that, but if they did, I condemn it, otherwise it is the not the truth.

I asked Hannity, what are the choices we have? Let the brotherhood do what they want, or work with us? He said, shall we say, please please be friends with Israel – I said, no, "this financial aid is for maintaining peace in the region, and we need you to work on that. No preconditions."

Horowitz was jumping form topic to topic – claiming that 80% of females are mutilated genitally – wanted to ask him, if brother hood issues that order, or if it was his assumption and how is this connected with the topic of $1.5 billion aid?

President Obama is right in taking a cautious approach, we have a choice to mess up the situation or make it better. Rejecting brotherhood amounts to telling them stick with their position, working with them is acknowledging who they are and asking them to be with us and respect the peace treaties. Peace comes through dialogue.

Israel is not a loser Mr. Netanyahu.

The Israeli leadership does not have a vision and have made gross mistakes over the last several decades. The Jews across the globe need to demand the Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu to performance based on restoring genuine security to Israel.

Netanyahu and his friends believe in bully power that has not worked; to oppress, to crush and to teach a lesson to the Palestinians. Their way of finding a solution to a conflict is to annihilate the party to the conflict, which will never happen. That is downright animalistic. If the evil Roman Empire and the scum bag Hitler could not annihilate the armless civilian Jews, what makes them think that they can drive the Palestinians out of their homes or annihilate them?

If Israeli leaders keep threatening other nations, what should the other nations do? Commit suicide?  Israel’s security hinges on security of her neighbors, Israel will not have peace unless others around her do. Netanyahu and his ilk do not have that frame of mind to grasp it. All they know is to talk tough to an eternal cheering right wing audience who rejoice killing and oppression at the cost of security and ironically in the name of security.

The Israeli leadership made serious mistakes in not supporting the Egyptian Spring, they alienated the Egyptians. A few weeks ago, I was with David Horowitz on Hannity show, he maintained that we (Americans) should have supported Mubarak. How wrong can he be? Had Israel supported the people, the equation would have been that of cooperation and Israel had a chance to say, but Mr. Netanyahu blew it. I wish the leadership represented the interests of the people?
Bombing Iran is the most idiotic scheme they have cooked up; it will ruin America and Israel both as much as it ruins the other.  It will bring insecurity to Jews and Israel on a longer period. The current policies work against Israel.
Sean Hannity asks me; would you sit down and talk with the terrorist who is bent on killing you? My response remains the same, and then whom do you talk with to make peace?
Now they claim Israel is the biggest loser with the victory of Brotherhood.  I don’t think so; there is a way out for all parties.
Mr. Netanyahu needs a lesson in diplomacy.

You must win the people and earn their support in the long haul, do not support dictators, none of them will be around, people do and their support is sustainable.

Drop the ridiculous idea of bombing Iran, instead do the following;

Make friends with Iran, and poof the enemy would be gone! It comes with the announcement that you will restore justice to the Palestinians and in one single stroke, the hostilities will begin to end. First, you have to earn the trust of the people including Sarkozy and Obama with your actions, then you really have to mean it.
This is serious stuff that your right winger friends do not want happen, as they stand to lose an income that fear and conflict produces for them.  The 1% right wingers are holding the other Jews hostage with their policies. Watch out, the Israeli spring may be brewing to rid of your failed leadership. Remember your intelligence has been bad and unreliable.  You can change this all and find a pluralistic solution.

The Jerusalem post writes that “Israel is the biggest loser from Brotherhood Egypt win”. Nope’s, that is not true, there is a way out. If our Senate and Congressional leadership goes back to zero on Middle East policy and define a clear goal of security to Israel and Justice to Palestinians,  and do the things that take us there.

America will be the loser in the equation; we will completely lose our ability to be an “honest” broker if we don’t reign in on war mongering. China and Russia may jump in and we will be the losers in the end in every which way. It is in our interest to speak up and stop this war mongering and do the right thing; Justice for Palestine and security for Israel.

Sean Hannity Radio Show 11.23.11

SEAN HANNITY RADIO SHOW
Sean with David Horowitz and Mike Ghouse

Recorded at 12:45 EST | will be relayed at 4:30Check for your local station at http://www.hannity.com/stations

Rush Notes: I hope to add the audio here

I remain opposed to going to war with Iran, Israel has a right to defend its own border, but it is not wise to go on a pre-emptive war. We never had out intelligence right from the Iran hostage crises to Mubarak stepping down, what makes them think it is right now?
War will destroy our economy more than it will destroy them… Wars are destructive. Horowitz is bent on war; he obviously gets thrills with wars and an opportunity to make money without realizing the evils of the war.

Sean had asked me to repeat the words after him that he was right… I asked him if it was the pledge of Allegiance… I did with the exception that he was right once, but not again.

The Egyptians will not let Army or the Brotherhood destroy their dreams of freedom and democracy. Horowitz believes we should support the military as they are the ones who are going to check the Brotherhood from taking over... he is wrong, the people got rid of Mubarak, and now that Military is showing its arm, they are out on the street again.

Ahmedinejad is a maniac to keep challenging the world, so was Saddam Hussein who challenged that he will fight us out, but we took that country in a few hours, they had no powers. Iran is in the same boat. We should not punish the people of Iran for this one Maniac – they will get rid of him for his destructive talks.
………….. .

For Christ’s sake we are a democracy, not a dictatorship. People have the right to protest and that is part of our freedom. I am horrified with Horowitz’s words about expelling the students.

If he and I do not have job, we will be on streets protesting as well against the flawed system. Let people protest… and express their frustration… Horowitz thinks it is the hatred for the country – NO sir; it is the love of the country to protest and set it right. Had we protested before all those useless wars we would have saved our country. Occupy movements is an expression of frustrations over failures of the system… your ideas to expel them are not constructive – rather destructive… when the frustrations reaches peak, there will be more problems… let’s find solutions.

It is a shame that when people are losing jobs, the CEO is walking away with Millions – they earned it, but if the whole system collapses, they lose it too…

Sean and I disagree but we have learned to value each others opinion. That is democracy and pluralism – to respect the otherness of other.

What's Next For Egypt?
Mike Ghouse, CEO of America Together Foundation and David Horowitz stopped by to share their thoughts on the rise of the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt. “Things in Egypt are coming down to the Muslim Brotherhood or worse,” began Hannity. “There are several radical Islamic groups in Egypt,” corrected Horowitz, “They’re the ones with the political power and those with Democratic elements don’t have the resources to compete.” Ghouse, slightly disagreeing, argued, “This is the first time in the history where colonialism is ending and ultimately the will of the people will lead to stability in the region.” “There is only one way to get rid of the insecurity in the area,” fought Hannity, “There’s one country that needs to be stopped and that country is Iran.” There is a brewing battle going on with Iran and while Washington continues to jeopardize our defenses with over spending and poor fiscal d iscipline, only our votes in 2012 can help to alleviate the tension and strengthen our position in the world.

Sean Hannity, David Horowitz & Mike Ghouse on Playland

The talk was about the row at Playland, where Muslims celebrated Ramadan festival and it ended up being a sour event. David Horowitz needs to stop making things up and the police needs sensitivity training. Minorities are sensitive to being singled out - Jews are ready to invoke Anti-Semitism, African Americans are eager to call it Racism and Muslims have a stock answer because we are Muslims. No one needs to be singled out. Full Story at: http://theghousediary.blogspot.com/2011/09/sean-hannity-david-horowitz-mike-ghouse.html

Sean Hannity, David Horowitz & Mike Ghouse
Scuffle at Playland Park 2:00 -2:20 PM EST 09/01/11

The police needs sensitivity training as well – all minorities are sensitive to being singled out and opt for the group blame – Jews are ready to invoke Anti-Semitism, African Americans are eager to call it Racism and Muslims have a stock answer because we are Muslims. Not all Jews, African Americans or Muslims do that, but a few who do get highlighted on the media.

Individuals should be treated as individuals and no affiliation needs to be given and even if they proclaim it - because I am Black, Muslim, Hindu, Jew or whatever.

The Muslim girl was wrong on three counts; 1) arguing with the police, 2) arrogance over safety issue and 3) claiming because she was Muslim.

We are all in this together and historically and psychologically, the ones under the gun (under the gun) find easy answers in assuming it is their heritage that is being attacked. The larger society needs to be sensitive to build a cohesive society. No one needs to be apprehensive of the other.

David Horowitz has a habit of cooking up,  among other things he said “Muslims are indoctrinated to play victim” and “Muslims are geared up for war”  I have jumped on him three times on the program to prove it and admonished him not to make up things.

I challenged him, “No Muslim is indoctrinated to play victim, you are making this up, there is no proof and no evidence and no basis for your statement” and “David, where did you find the Muslims are geared up for war?” -  David did not admit he was wrong, but did not argue either and was shooting his mouth on other issues; a typical right winger attitude.

The girl had said, “It is clear this happened because we’re Muslims” It is a bait, why play it up as a Muslim issue? It was a security issue.

David Horowitz attacked CAIR – I argued it was civil rights organization just like ADL and other groups to defend the rights. He said they are a hate group, I retorted, what hateful thing have they done? What have they done to you?

Sean Hannity cannot leave me alone without talking about my support for Ground Zero Mosque and Imam Feisal, whom I defend.

I believe it was a good program, where I was able to be objective to acknowledge the mistakes of those few individuals who were attempting to label it as a Muslim issue. Thank God, Sean finally introduced me correctly and has promised to call me “Mike” from here forward.

God willing next week we will be talking about the Unity Day USA, a 9/11 Memorial.
www.Unitydayusa.com a Muslim initiative to bring Americans together for the safety and security of America.

Indeed, I have been working on making this a national day and have spoken with several congress persons. Nancy Pelosi was excited about the idea and Republican congressmen Pete Session, Ralph Hall, Sam Johnson and Kenny Marchant had agreed to sponsor the bill in a luncheon with me a couple years ago. Unity is about bringing the Republicans and Democrats together for common good of our nation. If you are in Dallas, please join us at 5:00 PM, Sunday, September 11, 2011 at the Unity Church in Dallas. Details are at the site
