Sean Hannity, Brotherhood, Spencer, Qur’aan and Ghouse

Sean Hannity is indeed excited about the Muslim Brotherhood. However he exercises caution and avoids outright condemnation, it is a positive shift in his judgementalistic approach towards anything that is Muslim and Islamic and I admire that. I am glad he brings a semblance of another point of view to the American public, that is a step in the right direction and I welcome it.
Even though he recites that they want to impose Sharia and the Caliphate, he does not exhibit his confidence about their evilness.  In my last two appearances on his show he asks, “Michael, what if you are wrong about the Brotherhood and I am right”.
Although I build the scenario if I were wrong, I maintained that the Brotherhood does not have a strong foothold in this uprising from the twitter and facebook youth who seek the freedom model of America. I am glad to see the reinforcement for my analysis by Juan Cole and Bruce Riedel in the USA Today.

Neither Israel nor America need to fear the Brotherhood, if we push them to the corner without choices, then we need to fear them, if we frigthen others, others will frighten us equally. Instead we need to part take with the aspirations of the people and we will increase the chances of not losing them.
American interests
Obama is the first America president since Reagan to have said and done the right thing; to be with the people. Indeed our foreign policy ought to be based on people to people relationship to sustain it, instead of the Shahs, Mubaraks, Netanyahus and the Bushs’ who will come and go but the nurtured public attitudes will stay.
Indeed, Obama scored a victory with people around the Middle East who opted non-violence to bring about a change and that means real long term stability for us, them and Israel once we pass through the turmoil stage. We will not be looked up as Killers of innocent Iraqis, even though we are delusional and proclaim ourselves to be their saviors.
We stand for justice and liberty, and we have shown that to the people that we mean and stand by freedom.
Israeli interest:
The Israeli public and the Jewish people have the same aspirations for peace and security as the Palestinians, Egyptians, Americans and others. Sadly, they are not represented by their government as was the case during Bush in America.
Israeli leaders nearly messed that up by urging America to support Mubarak. Peace treaty is between the people of Egypt and Israel and not between Netanyahu and Mubarak or Begin and Sadat. You cannot go against a people and expect a mortal dictator to upkeep the treaty, if you do that you are under constant fear of the continuance of the regime and consequential insecurity.  You cannot be secure if people and nations around you are not. Both Israel and America need a serious review of their foreign policy.
If Israel acts and represents the wishes of her people and Joins America in supporting the people, we can be a part of the aspirations of the Egyptian people in shaping self governance and freedom of speech to begin with. The Israeli public needs to speak up if not, they will keep getting what they got; threats and counter threats.
Here is the latest on Fox TV with Hannity and Spencer http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=H5Q64RUxSd4
Robert Spencer sells fear.
Robert Spencer never misses an opportunity to sell hate and fear; a source of his livelihood. He has been on the wrong side, he was goofy on the issue of the park 51Mosque near Ground Zero and now on Egypt, he knows the right wingers will fall for it and pour donations on his website for cooking up and maintaining an enemy for them.
Spencer goes on to mis-quote Quraanic verses. There is not a holy book that tells its followers to lie, and Spencer says it is an Islamic thing to lie and pretend. Did he think Americans are dumb and won’t verify his falsities? He was quoting verse 3:28 and I am producing verses 3:25 through 3:31 for the readers to judge.
You can buy a copy of the Qur’aan translated by Mohammad Asad or go online at http://www.islamicity.com/QuranSearch/ and plug in the verse numbers 3:28 and search with Asad translation.
If you are a researcher and have a genuine interest in finding the truth, we will furnish you an authenticated copy of the Qur’aan translation by Muhammad Asad.

Al-Imran (The Family of Imran)
·  3:25 (Asad) How, then, [will they fare] when We shall gather them all together to witness the Day about [the coming of] which there is no doubt, and every human being shall be repaid in full for what he has done, and none shall be wronged?
·  3:26 (Asad) SAY: "O God, Lord of all dominion! Thou grantest dominion unto whom Thou willest, and takest away dominion from whom Thou willest; and Thou exaltest whom Thou willest, and abasest whom Thou willest. In Thy hand is all good. Verily, Thou hast the power to will anything.
·  3:27 (Asad) "Thou makest the night grow longer by shortening the day, and Thou makest the day grow longer by shortening the night. And Thou bringest forth the living out of that which is dead, and Thou bringest forth the dead out of that which is alive. And Thou grantest sustenance unto whom `Thou willest, beyond all reckoning."
·  3:28 (Asad) LET NOT the believers take those who deny the truth for their allies in preference to the believers [19] - since he who does this cuts himself off from God in everything - unless it be to protect yourselves against them in this way. [20] But God warns you to beware of Him: for with God is all journeys' end.
Note 19 (Quran Ref: 3:28 )
I.e., in cases where the interests of those "deniers of the truth" clash with the interests of believers (Manar 111, 278). Regarding the deeper implications of the term "allies" (awliya'), see 4:139 and the corresponding note.(Quran Ref: 3:28 )
Note 20 (Quran Ref: 3:28 )
Lit., "unless you fear from them something that is to be feared". Zamakhshari explains this phrase as meaning, "unless you have reason to fear that they might do something which ought to be guarded against" - obviously referring to situations in which "those who deny the truth" are more powerful than the Muslims, and are therefore in a position to damage the latter unless they become their "allies" in a political or moral sense.(Quran Ref: 3:28 )
·  3:29 (Asad) Say: "Whether you conceal what is in your hearts [21] or bring it into the open, God knows it: for He knows all that is in the heavens and all that is on earth; and God has the power to will anything."
·  3:30 (Asad) On the Day when every human being will find himself faced with all the good that he has done, and with all the evil that he has done, [many a one] will wish that there were a long span of time between himself and that [Day]. Hence, God warns you to beware of Him; but God is most compassionate towards His creatures.
·  3:31 (Asad) Say [O Prophet]: "If you love God, follow me, [and] God will love you and forgive you your sins; for God is much-forgiving, a dispenser of grace."
